How to Uninstall Bitdefender From Windows, Android & iOS

If you decide to move to another antivirus software, here’s how to delete Bitdefender from your computer or cell phone.

Bitdefender is one of the two best antivirus packages on your computer, the other is Norton 360. If you experience problems with Bitdefender, or your subscription has expired and you don’t want to renew, here’s how to uninstall it.

In Windows 10, click on the Start menu and then Settings (gear icon).

Now click on Applications in the Settings window.

Scroll down or search for Bitdefender and click. If there are many entries, look for entries with the full product name. In this case Bitdefender Total Security. If you also have a Bitdefender VPN, you might have to delete them separately because you can subscribe separately. And if there are entries left after removing the main product, just repeat the process until everything is deleted.

Now click the Uninstall button. If prompted, click Delete again (or Delete) then Yes when asked whether the application can make changes to your system.

You now have two choices: I want to reinstall or I want to delete it permanently.

The first temporarily deletes it, and does not delete every last file. The last one.

Select your preferences and click Next and then wait until Bitdefender is deleted.

Bitdefender offers a special removal tool for each version of its antivirus software. So, if you find that some elements still exist after removing the application, you can download the appropriate tool to eliminate traces and ensure that Bitdefender is completely removed from your system.

How to delete Bitdefender from your cellphone

If you have the Bitdefender application on an Android phone or iPhone, just long press on the icon and click ‘Delete Application’ on the iPhone or Uninstall on the Android phone. Some Android phones differ in how you uninstall the application – you might have to long press the icon and then drag it to the trash icon, or the word ‘Uninstall’.
